Reporting Employment Taxes
Depositing Payroll Taxes versus Reporting Payroll Taxes
Depositing and reporting employment taxes are two separate functions.
For example, for tax reporting purposes, you file one Form 941 each quarter to report employment taxes even though you might be making monthly payroll deposits, or even more frequent deposits.
