Tax Forms Ineligible for E-Filing

Note: Tax forms ineligible for e-filing must be mailed to the IRS. You attach your tax forms to Form 8453 and mail them together.

The following Tax Forms Are Not Eligible for E-Filing:

  1. Form 1040X, Amended U.S. Individual Income Tax Return.
  2. Form 4506, Request for Copy of Tax Return.
  3. Form 8836, Qualifying Children Residency Statement.
